Morrison Ranch went up in phases from the early seventies, single and two-story houses on concrete slabs with copper run through the slab, and the estates section with larger houses on bigger lots toward the hills. Most have been remodeled inside since. The plumbing under the floor is usually the original.
So the calls are the valley's usual three. A warm patch on the floor or a water bill that jumped, which is the copper in the slab going. A pressure regulator at the front hose bib that quietly gave up years ago, showing itself as a run of failed valves and fixtures. And a water heater in a garage that gets hot in summer, on its second or third replacement.
