What brought us out.
The outdoor drains at this Agoura Hills home needed attention, and there was also a pinhole leak in a copper pipe inside the dining room wall. Dave and I handled the visit.
What we did.
We opened the drywall, removed the damaged copper section, and soldered in a new section to resolve that leak. Outside, we cleaned and snaked the poolside drains and the basin drain behind the pool.
The basin line was still draining slowly, and we suspect a broken section there. A sewer camera also showed crushed piping in the last 15 to 20 feet of the line near the street. During our testing, backyard water came out through a side drain near the street instead of following the intended route.
We recommended replacing the damaged drain sections. That replacement has not been completed, and clearing the drains doesn’t correct crushed piping.
The total for everything we did on this visit was $1,622.02.
