There was a leak at the Y-shaped drain fitting in the guest bathroom at this Westlake Village home.
What we did.
I replaced the Y-branch tailpiece and the 7/8-inch hose to correct the problem. The tailpiece is part of the connection into the drain piping, so a leak there can let water escape before it reaches the rest of the drain.
The total for everything I did on this visit was $245.
