What brought us out.
Wet drywall in the laundry room was the sign of a hidden water leak at this Tarzana home. Dave and I removed the affected drywall from the wall and ceiling so we could find the source.
What we did.
We found a pinhole leak in a half-inch copper line serving the hot-water recirculation system. We replaced the damaged section with new copper, put the system back under pressure, checked for leaks, and bled out trapped air. Fixing that pipe stops the leak from continuing to wet the surrounding area.
We also adjusted the recirculation timer to fit the homeowner’s schedule.
The total for everything we did on this visit was $623.68.
