What brought us out.
Several feet of sand and seaweed had collected in the sump basin under the deck at this Malibu property. Before a replacement pump could go in, we needed to get access to the existing equipment and see what we were working with.
What we did.
Dave and I helped remove the buildup, took out the old pump, and identified its model. We also started planning the replacement pump and basin, area drains, and possible future French drains to collect and move water away from the area.
A replacement pump had been purchased for a later installation. This visit covered the cleanup assistance, removal, and planning; the new pump was not installed yet.
The total for this visit was $700.
