Dan’s job notes
What brought us out.
The children’s shower at this Tarzana home needed attention, and the homeowner also had replacement water filters ready to go in.
What we did.
Dave and I installed the owner-supplied diverter cartridge in the shower valve and adjusted the temperature settings to restore proper operation. The diverter is the part that directs the water to the shower outlet being used.
We also installed two owner-supplied kitchen water filters and the whole-house filter cartridge in the laundry room. Changing those cartridges keeps the existing filtration systems maintained without replacing the entire units.
The total for everything we did on this visit was $400.33, with the homeowner supplying the cartridge and filters.
Sometimes a few well-chosen replacement parts are what the existing fixtures need.
Replace the part, keep the fixture.
A new cartridge got the shower valve working right, and fresh filter cartridges keep the existing filters doing their job.
