Dan’s job notes
What brought us out.
The kitchen faucet at this Los Angeles home was leaking around the handle. Dave handled this one for us and found that the cartridge inside had failed.
What we did.
He removed the handle, replaced the cartridge, and put the handle back on. He then tested the faucet and found no leaks.
The cartridge is an internal part of the faucet. Replacing that failed part corrected the leak without replacing the whole fixture.
The total for everything we did on this visit was $399.74.
Sometimes the right repair is a new part inside the faucet you already have.
Keep the faucet.
A leak at the handle usually means the cartridge is worn. A new one fixes it and the faucet stays.
