Dan’s job notes
What brought us out.
The customer at this Los Angeles home wanted the outside main water valve and irrigation valve replaced. Dave handled this one for us.
What we did.
He first cleared rocks and dirt from the shutoff at the curb so he could turn off the water supply. Then he installed a new one-inch main ball valve and a new three-quarter-inch irrigation valve.
Those valves let the water to the house and irrigation be shut off when needed. Dave restored pressure and checked the new connections. No leaks were found.
The total for everything we did on this visit was $454.06.
A shutoff valve is a small part you want to be able to rely on when you need it.
Know it’ll turn.
If a pipe bursts, the main valve is the first thing you reach for. The new ball valve shuts the house off with a quarter turn.
