What brought us out.
There were two leaks under and around the kitchen sink at this Thousand Oaks home. The instant hot-water tank leaked while it was in use, and the hot-and-cold dispenser faucet leaked at its cartridge. Dave handled this one for us.
What we did.
He replaced both the faucet and the small instant heater, and added a Body Glove BG-3000 filter to the system. This is the separate setup that provides hot water at the sink for things like making a hot drink.
Dave tested the new system, found no leaks, and confirmed the water heated properly. He also replaced the dryer’s gas connector with a longer flexible line and checked that connection for leaks. None were found.
The total for everything we did on this visit was $1,993.92.
Checking both leaking parts kept us from solving only half the problem.
Both leaks fixed.
The tank and the faucet were each leaking on their own. Replacing just one would have left water under the sink.
