Dan’s job notes
What brought us out.
A pottery studio in Thousand Oaks was being set up with three utility sinks, and the water and drain connections needed to go in before the walls were finished.
What we did.
Dave and I installed the copper water lines and drain lines for all three sinks. This was the rough-in stage—the piping that prepares each sink location for its final connections.
The finish plumbing was still to come after the drywall and painting. This visit did not include that final stage.
The total billed for this visit was $1,700, covering this portion of the larger three-sink project.
Getting the piping in place at the right stage keeps the next part of the project moving.
Pipes go in before the walls.
Rough-in is the piping that sets up each sink before drywall and paint. The finish connections come later.
