Dan’s job notes
What brought us out.
This bathroom addition in Malibu was ready for its water supply and finish plumbing—the stage that turns the new space into a usable bathroom.
What we did.
I installed the underground copper water lines and completed the connections for the toilet, vanity, sink, faucet, shut-off valves, and hot-water unit. The shut-off valves also give the homeowner a way to isolate individual fixtures when they need service.
The total billed for this stage was $4,000. It was part of the larger bathroom plumbing project, rather than the price for the entire addition.
It’s good to see the work behind the walls and underground come together with the fixtures the homeowner will use every day.
A shutoff for each fixture.
Each fixture has its own shutoff valve, so one can be turned off for service while the rest of the house keeps water.
