What brought us out.
A rear patio drain at this Calabasas home backed up when we tested it with a hose. Dave and I traced the route through the pool-patio drains to the outlet down the hill.
What we did.
We snaked about 100 feet of line, pulling out a large amount of roots and debris. We worked the line several times until the outlet was flowing fully. We also cleared the upper drain near the pool equipment and fitted a new drain cover.
Inside, we snaked the primary bathroom sink drain and installed a new trap beneath it.
The total for everything we did on this visit was $1,527.67.
Testing the outlet helped us see how the whole drain system was moving water.

Running water through a drain shows whether it reaches the outlet. This one backed up until the roots came out.
