What brought us out.
The outdoor drainage at this Los Angeles home needed more attention after our earlier clearing and inspection. Dave and I dug up a section of the front-yard drain so we could get into the line and remove a large amount of roots.
What we did.
We flushed dirt and debris from the pipe and created a cleanout for future service. A cleanout gives us a place to reach the drain again without having to dig up the same area just to get access.
Afterward, we backfilled the trench and replanted the grass. The patio, side-yard and front-yard area drains were draining properly when the work was finished. We also cleaned debris from the front and rear gutters.
The total for everything we did on this visit was $1,519.85.
Clearing the line and leaving access for next time both matter.
Next time, no digging.
The new cleanout gives us a way into this line from the yard. The next clearing starts there instead of with a shovel.
