What brought us out.
The outdoor drains and roof gutters at this Encino home needed clearing. Dirt and leaves can take up the space water needs to travel through, so Dave and I worked through both systems.
What we did.
We flushed the area drains out to the street and removed the buildup. On the roof, we cleaned the gutters and downspouts so rainwater had a clearer path away from the house.
Inside, we installed a new kitchen water filter and repaired a bathroom toilet with a new flush handle and flapper. Those parts operate the flush and seal the tank afterward, so replacing them addressed the toilet’s problem without replacing the whole fixture.
The total for everything we did on this visit was $1,092.31.
It’s a good combination of preventative maintenance outside and a couple of practical fixes inside.
