Dan’s job notes
What brought us out.
The homeowner had a new pullout kitchen faucet ready to install at this Los Angeles home. I had Dave handle this visit.
What we did.
He removed the old faucet and installed the owner-supplied replacement. A pullout faucet gives a little more reach for rinsing around the sink and washing larger items.
He also repaired the hot-water shut-off valve under the sink with a new washer, then tested the faucet and checked the connections. Everything ran well, with no leaks found during the check.
The total for this visit was $295.49, with the homeowner supplying the faucet.
It’s worth checking the valves and connections while the new fixture is going in.
Check the valve while you’re there.
The shutoff under the sink got a new washer while the faucet went in. Then the faucet and connections were tested with no leaks.
