Dan’s job notes
What brought us out.
The hot-water circulation setup and several fixtures at this Thousand Oaks home needed attention. Dave and I handled this one together.
What we did.
We installed a new Grundfos circulation pump with a bypass valve as part of the hot-water setup. A circulation pump helps move water through the system. We also cleared several fixtures to improve their water flow.
Under the right-hand primary bathroom sink, we installed a new shutoff valve. That provides a local way to turn off the faucet’s supply when it needs work.
The total for everything we did on this visit was $1,078.02.
It is worth looking at how the system and the individual fixtures are working together.
Hot water sooner.
A circulation pump keeps hot water moving through the pipes, so the taps don’t run cold as long before it arrives.
