What brought us out.
The tankless water heater at this Malibu home was showing an error code. During our inspection, we found the intake vent wasn’t allowing enough air to reach the unit, which sat inside a closed closet in the garage.
What we did.
Once the parts arrived, Dave and I installed the new Noritz exterior vent and vent pipe and adjusted the heater’s setting for that vent arrangement. The point was to give the existing heater the air supply it needed to operate properly.
We ran the hot water afterward, and error code 90 no longer appeared during testing.
The total for this job was $726.02.
