Dan’s job notes
What brought us out.
This Manhattan Beach home was making the switch from a tank water heater to a new tankless unit installed outside.
What we did.
Dave and I removed the old tank heater and installed the Noritz tankless system in its new outdoor location. The job included the water and gas piping needed for the move, along with isolation valves for future service.
A tankless heater heats water as it flows through the unit instead of keeping a large tank of water hot. Moving the equipment outside also frees up the spot where the old tank stood.
The total for this installation was $7,498.51.
Changing water heaters is also about setting up the piping and access so the new system can be maintained down the road.
Set it up for service later.
The new water and gas piping includes isolation valves, so the heater can be maintained down the road.
