Dan’s job notes
What brought us out.
A backed-up kitchen sink, a gurgling drain, and a possible tub leak needed checking at this Culver City building. Dave and I worked through the different trouble spots.
What we did.
We snaked two kitchen drain lines through to the main line and installed a new trap under the backed-up sink. We also found debris clogging the air-conditioning condensate lines—the pipes that carry away water produced by the AC—and opened the PVC at three locations so we could snake those lines.
At the bathroom with the reported tub leak, we tested and inspected the area. We found no water around the tub or in the garage during that check, so there wasn’t a confirmed leak there to repair at the time.
The total for everything on this visit was $890.84.
Each complaint deserves its own check, including being clear when we can’t reproduce a reported leak.
Check each problem on its own.
The kitchen and AC lines needed clearing. The tub showed no leak when we tested it, so there was nothing to repair there that day.
