What brought us out.
A drain pipe was leaking near the washing machine in the garage at this Santa Monica property. Dave and I found a cracked section of the 3-inch ABS waste stack.
What we did.
We removed the damaged pipe and fittings and installed new ABS piping, including a cleanout fitting and a washing machine trap. The cleanout gives us a place to access the line for future drain service.
After the repair, we tested the drain and confirmed it was draining properly with no leaks. That keeps the wastewater inside the piping where it belongs.
The total for this job was $1,255.
A sound repair and a good access point make a difference now and when the line needs service later.
